Navigator OTS is a beautiful, fun ship… just the right size!
October
Pros: Great entertainment and activities for all ages. Fun game shows, quizzes, music
Cons: MDR food… eh. Great service though. Beds are not comfortable.
Recommended: Yes
I wanted to take my grandson on a cruise and definitely picked the right ship for that. Our State room attendant was so attentive to him and made really cute animals every night and made sure he touched base with him several times during the trip, our assistant waiter made paper airplanes, and origami birds. I cannot say enough about the crew on this ship . There is so much to do, we didn’t have time to do it all, but we all had the time of our lives. Loved Playmakers food and the Coke freestyle machines. Crazy Quest was a blast. Royal theatre shows were AWESOME. Kids Club was awesome, Peyton loved it.

Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas
May
Pros: Clean room and clean common areas of the ship. Amazing dining service and lots of options for food. Amazing room steward who went above and beyond. Kids club staff was amazing and my kids loved going to Adventure Ocean.
Cons: Windjammer food tasted less quality than the main dining room. Balcony room is small for a family of four. Gym is not open 24 hours.
Recommended: Yes
My family and I had a great experience for our first cruise! Royal Caribbean is great if you have children. The adventure ocean club is amazing and my kids begged to go to the kids club everyday. There are plenty of shows and activities to do on the ship. The ice show and comedy show were amazing! Highly recommend this cruise ship for anyone that is taking children. The gym was really nice and there was plenty of equipment to use. No

Perfect for the first timer
May
Pros: Great crew, nice and clean ship, easy first timer destinations
Cons: unlimited alcohol prices too high, not enough water bottle filling stations, 18% gratuity added to EVERYTHING
Recommended: Yes
Royal Caribbean has their stuff figured out! The boarding process was very easy and was very organized which was great for first time cruisers to figure out. The tender and disembarkation process at every port was seamless. EACH AND EVERY crew member was kind, friendly, and willing to help out with anything. They really make the environment fun, upbeat, and enjoyable. We did not come across one single crew member that was unfriendly during the course of this cruise. We enjoyed our entire time on this cruise and will absolutely choose Royal again.

Mexican Riviera
November
Pros: Service staff and main dining experience good.
Cons: Staterooms need updates. No data ports, only 2 electric outlets, balcony door hard to open, Windjammer furniture worn. Weather cool leaving LA and returning at end of December which were sea days.
Recommended: No
The main areas of the ship were in good condition but the Windjammer dining room and staterooms need updating. Ice skating shows were very nice. No conditioner or lotion provided, only shampoo. Unable to purchase any sundries on board. Had to wait to purchase item in port. There wasn’t an empty seat in the casino and smoking was permitted in there. This ship did not have the Royal Caribbean standard’s I have become accustomed too. Personally I think the Caribbean is nicer and has prettier beaches. Was disappointed in the Mexican Riviera but that is not a reflection on Royal Caribbean.

Our Fun Trip
October
Pros: Ship was clean, big focus on cleanliness! Our room was nice, and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: Hurricane Norma - missed two ports
Recommended: Yes
Hurricane Norma definitely caused issues. Missed going ashore in Cabo and Puerto Vallarta was cancelled. We stopped in Mazatlan, then headed out to get ahead of Norma. They refunded shore excursions and also gave us some refundable ship board credit. We were impressed with the service compared to another cruise line we’ve tried in the past.
