Beautiful Princess Majestic

February

Pros: So beautiful, great food in Buffet & MDRs. Immaculately clean ship & rooms

Cons: None

Recommended: Yes

Had a most enjoyable cruise on Majestic for 3 weeks.. great waiters & best crew. No person was sick on this cruise because the crew cleaned, cleaned every day. You had to wash hands before going into MDR & Buffet. There was a crew member overseeing you as you entered. No person minded it. It was a great feeling not getting sick as some cruise ships had problems not Majestic. Music & wonderful shows every night. The Expresso Martinis were so delicious. Try one. We highly recommend Princess Majestic for your next cruise. Booked our flight thru Princess. We flew with Iberia. It was the best flight ever. Highly recommend.. Had a most enjoyable cruise vacation.

Pros: Love them waiting on us

Cons: 51 days is a long time but worth it

Recommended: Yes

We love cruising so we tried South America and we are glad we did. Had a balcony room and we are so glad we did could always see outside especially early in the mornings. We are early risers. Never did think I would go to South America. The ship was beautiful We sailed on it from December 1st to January 21st

Good, not great, cruise

November

Pros: Great service, very comfortable bed, good food, decent itinerary

Cons: Small cabins, crowded public spaces, Princess Live not good venue

Recommended: Yes

For the most part, cruise was fine. We have been to most of the ports several times, but new to Loreto, which is a great little town. No significant problems on ship, but my medallion stopped working on 3rd day and I had to get a new one. The ship is showing its age and needs updating and some reconfiguration. The seating for the Crown Grill extends into the busy walkway on Deck 7, creating a major slowdown for traffic. Also, the cabins are very small, the couch was ridiculously small, as was the shower stall. But I think this is common for this class of ship.

Majestic Princess

October

Pros: Great time!!!!!! People were very friendly with lots of activities for all. Entertainment was very good

Cons: Food was dicey. Needed a touch of brightness to most dishes

Recommended: Yes

Lots of older people with no kids running around. Mini-suite was great - nicely decorated. Would take Princess line again. Service was excellent!

Alaskan Cruise, 7 days, September 2024

September

Pros: Cruise staff throughout (Dining, Stateroom, Entertainment, General), Entertainment & Activities

Cons: Size of interior stateroom

Recommended: Yes

We have taken Princess Cruises before and knew that service and experience would be topnotch, and we were not disappointed! We were well-taken care of, especially by our stateroom steward and all those on the dining staff we encountered. Most were Filipino, and they have always been friendly, helpful and engaging. Those in Photography, Cruise Staff and special entertainment guests we encountered were such a pleasure to meet and talk with as well. We were on a budget and were booked in an inside stateroom. We are older now (in our mid-50's) and we found that an inside stateroom is no longer comfortable for us. For our next cruise, we will likely budget for a stateroom the next level up.

Alaska in September

September

Pros: Entertaining

Cons: Limited

Recommended: Yes

Alaska is beautiful in September, and the weather was so nice! This is not a cruise to see the large glaciers from the ship like I had hoped. There is a glacier view in the itinerary, and the color of the water there was breath taking, however the glacier view is limited from the ship, and it was a bit disappointing. In general, the cruise was very enjoyable. Accolades to Harrison, a server at the Vino bar, was awesome!! He checked on us constantly, learned our drink preferences and was a 10 out of 10! Thank you for making our cruise more enjoyable! I cannot say the same for the service staff at the Piazza bar. The Cruise Director was fabulous!and so fun! There was fun/enjoyable activities and entertainment of some sort midship most of the time. The food was delicious! I did think that charging extra for a nice cut of beef in the Main Dining Rooms seemed a bit chintzy though. That said, there was a nice variety of entrees to choose from, and all were beautifully prepared. Our room attendant was very accommodating and met our every need. Our room was made up daily and fresh linens provided when needed. We had coffee served in our room every morning and they delivered like clockwork - Thank you! All in all, it was a great cruise that I would recommend to friends and family. The boarding process in Seattle was relatively easy, however it did involve asking staff members for direction. Each port process is different so it’s possible that Princess has no say in their operation. I would recommend getting there relatively early to avoid long lines. Our friends arrived 30 minutes after us, and it took them and additional hour to board. The Princess ap is a bit frustrating to use. It was challenging to navigate as there are only 4 tabs for direction, and a lot of guessing which one lead to what. It would be nice to have a more detailed menu with sub-services for each tab. It would also be nice to include a link for the latest “health and safety” guidelines due to Covid, (if possible)? Also, it would help to identify the “Formal Nights” in the ship’s itinerary for cruisers to be prepared.
